Two weeks ago I received the text book for my current grad school course. Amazon had only two copies left after I bought mine, so of course I felt rather smug for having the foresight to snag one before they all went away. I bragged to my grad school class, "Well, I'M all ready! I bought one of the last copies, so harrumph." Then I went tripping away, licking my lollipop, be-ribboned ponytails bouncing.
And apparently Karma was listening.
Guess what? I'VE LOST THE BOOK. The $ 65 book, to be more precise. I turned my house upside down last night looking for it. I even braved checking my car (the mobile library), though I became frightened and I backed off before I unearthed a troll or perhaps an orc. (If you saw my automobile you would understand.)
I need help. If you were a book (a very EXPENSIVE book) lost in my house or automobile, where would you be? If you have any psychic abilities at all please put them to use. I am near to pulling out my hair, which wouldn't be a terribly good look for me.
N.B.: To Karma, I think you've made your point. Several times over.
Its been a while since the last post but i feel-someone you know with the letter J being associted in the dissapearance- a Jerry or Jarred..
--you have recently helped clean and paint a place with someone u like. This person doesnt feel sincere.to me....
yup i see a false friends-

You will get a duplicate...Karma-not to do with bragging or book but...trust and caution in your trust in others.
watch who your friends are...and be a trust worthy friend!
you will have another book. once you open your eyes.-visualize you holding it in the now...it will come your way..if it hadnt yet it will soon.

Amazingly, your book was stolen. Do you remember leaving your window down on your car one evening? Your book was on the passenger seat. Someone in your complex saw it and took. They've since sold it online. Some guy who lives down at the other end of the complex.

Let's see, I'm getting... a book... another book... also something about Kenneth Brannaugh. Hmm, I don't think this is working. Have any of your previously bookless classmates suddenly acquired copies?
Failing that, I'll go for spare bookcase, about half way up. It won't be in the main one, because you're using it, but you won't want to leave something that's cost you that much anywhere except a bookcase for the first week or two. I know this because it's exactly where I've left my copy of Raoul de Cambrai, which cost me even more than your textbook.
