At this point, I'm so tired of being angry with my boys I'm just throwing my hands up in despair.
This is truly getting beyond ridiculous. I love this team. They're my boys. BUT... And it's a very, very BIG BUT, they're starting to cheese me off big time. And I'm talking about a very, very stinky cheese, too, not just something mild, like, say, cheddar.
This was the second round of the Crosstown Classic. The round held at U.S. Cellular Field. It was a chance for the Sox to redeem themselves. BUT...
Crosstown "Classic" at U.S. Cellular Field:
Friday, June 22
CHC 2
CWS 0
Saturday, June 23
CHC 2
CWS 1
Sunday, June 24
CHC 3
CWS 0
Note: Ozzie Guillen was ejected from the game today in the 8th inning. I'm surprised Ozzie didn't commit a ritual suicide, personally. Getting ejected's pretty mild stuff after your team has performed this abysmally.
Did I mention the Sox have lost 42 games, winning only 29? They're one up from being worst in the AL Central, barely skimming above Kansas City... And Kansas City REALLY STINKS.
UGH.
Message to my boys in black:
WTF?
Amen!! I'll teach 'em, Susan, and they'll be an entirely different team when I'm done, too! Time to put some fear in those pampered boys...

You go, girl! Tell 'em to stop scratching their crotches and start FIELDING balls.

Susan, this year is about as dismal as it gets baseball-wise. Last year was bad, but this year is awful. They have had their share of problems with players on the DL, but they can't say that's the whole problem. It's just one disappointment after another, and I think they could use a stern talking-to! I think I'm just the one to do it, too... I'll just grab my purse, put on my hat (set to jaunty angle), and I'll be on my way.

Know how you feel, Bluestalking. You feel Blue. And you'd like to Stalk those Sox and Read them the Riot Act! The Phillies have spent many a season killing their fans (comme moi) the same way. This year at least they got above 500 by June. We may actually have a post-season this year (though perhaps not -- great bats and a paucity of pitchers).
