Andi and Les, it's impossible to take a photo of Maroon Bells that doesn't look like a postcard, and if you follow the trail that will take you to an even better view. But that trail is where I all but ruined my left heel! It hurt from that day in June 'til now, though it's abating a little FINALLY, thanks to some good doctorly advice about foot support. Colorado's just picture postcard pretty. No getting around that.

Wow! That just almost doesn't look real! Makes me want to take a road trip. Colorado is only a day away.
