Yet, the idea has appeal to me. BIG appeal, as I approach burnout mode. It also came to the forefront in a discussion in one of my grad school classes, as we addressed the issue of information and its sister, TMI.
Modern life is frantic, isn't it? It's crazy, and getting more so every day. What will the result of this be? Will there be a backlash? Will simplicity become the new chaos, as people get tired of being frazzled all the time?
I've asked Carl Honore for an interview, and if he agrees I'll post that here soon. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on slowness, and how our very busy-ness has impacted life?
