Susan, I know what mean. It felt like forever waiting for stuff to start blooming out here, after seeing all the photos of people in the UK, especially. They were enjoying blooms a month ago. Now things are popping out all over, and with it my allergies are on the rise. Sigh.

Les, I really don't know what this plant is! It was in the front yard of someone's house in Winnetka, IL. I saw it and took the photo, but I don't know yet what it is. If it's in bloom the next time I'm there I'll let you know.

You're so lucky. We're still waiting here in NY for the trees to leaf out. I've been grumbling about it for the last week. I had to console myself with some store-bought tulips.
