Bluestalking Reader

Linda, they're a feisty lot, they truly are! It really keeps things interesting.

At our last meeting we read a play in the group meeting, instead of reading a book for the month. That's a regular January tradition, to take the month off from assigning a book, instead reading a different play every year. When the play contains swearing you'd expect nice, prim ladies to blush and demur, but oh no sir! They attack it with all the gusto of sailors on shore leave. It's another thing that's inspiring about them. There's not a hesitant one in the bunch. Spine Crackers they truly are!

Linda Gillard

Spine crackers? Well, there was I thinking... osteopaths? Chiropractors? Maybe some weird S & M cult?

But no.

Thanks Bluestalking for a hilarious post. I shall be chuckling for days thanks to your image of the Spine Crackers, complete with knitting needles. ;-)
